Our membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June of the following year with the same subscription rate for individual, family (at the same address) or corporate membership. If you join between 15 April and 30 June, your membership will run to the end of the following membership year.

To join please complete the application form here and click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the form. You will then be redirected to the Parish Chest website to choose your subscription option and pay by card.

• You can join in person at a Society meeting and pay by cash, BACS or cheque;
• Otherwise, access an application form here;
• Either complete the form, print and send it with your cheque to the membership secretary at the address shown below;
• Or click on ‘Submit’ to send your form directly to the membership secretary, then simply post your cheque with your name and address on the back to the membership secretary.

Please make cheques payable to ‘Northamptonshire Family History Society‘. We accept cash and/or cheques in sterling only.

The Society accepts subscription renewal payments either by standing order, by BACS, by sterling cheque accompanied by a completed renewal form (from the centre of the May edition of Footprints), by International Wire Transfer or online from within the Members’ Area.

The Society limits publication of members’ personally identifiable data (PID) in its journal to Name and County/State (and Country, if outside of the UK).

Our Members’ Area was launched in July 2022 as an additional benefit to membership.

Accessible from the Members’ Area are back copies of Footprints since 1976, miscellaneous data sets, membership pages and other useful resources.

Access is controlled by a password which is changed in August each year. Members will be notified about the change, at that time.
